Helping our community is about more than making donations.
While we realise that community groups often need financial support to run their programs, we also encourage our staff to get involved and volunteer their time to worthy causes.
Positive Impact Days
Savings & Loans holds a monthly Positive Impact Day, with staff dressing casually for the day and raising money for local community projects.
Savings & Loans matches any donations made by our staff and, so far, more than $80,000 has been donated to various community groups.
Community Connect
Our volunteer program Community Connect gives our staff one day of paid leave to volunteer with any of our local community partnerships.
The program has received two consecutive South Australian Premier’s Awards for Corporate Volunteering for the difference we’ve made to our local communities.
More than 200 staff have donated in excess of 1,000 hours of time to assist a range of charities, including the The Smith Family, Conservation Volunteers Australia, the Salvation Army and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
